Embassy Media conducted an interview with Mr. Futsum Hagos, Director of wildlife conservation and development at the Ministry of Agriculture. He works as coordinator of national protected areas, which included planning, coordinating, supervising and monitoring wildlife activities.

Birds are useful indicators of the quality of the environment!

He said the fact that the endangered species of the Wild Ass is in a better condition in the country is an asset, and that wildlife is generally in a good shape thanks to the prevalence of peace. In this connection, he advised nationals to resort to diligent mobility so as to avoid attack by wild animals, especially in the areas that are populated by elephants.
